The Faculty, Staff, and Extension Agents of the NC State University Horticultural Science Department are here to offer learning opportunities, guidance, and general assistance to students, the general public and horticulture industries.

We are working to address current and future issues in horticulture science, as well as helping to guide undergraduate and graduate students down a path that may help them make an impact in horticulture once they complete their academic career.

The skills and understanding of those working within the Horticultural Science Department are visible in their research, by the students who have graduated, and through outreach available from Extension. It is this evidence that makes the commitment of those associated with the department apparent and is one of the many reasons the Department of Horticultural Science continues to be a highly regarded at NC State University, across the nation, and internationally.
